BUCS Matches
Both the men and women’s water polo teams have had a strong start to the season winning their matches against Oxford Brookes 40-5 and 14-9 respectively! We look forward to playing many more matches over the next few months, so stay tuned for more results on our Instagram, or in our next update!
Pre-season
We had a great start to the season with a lot of returning players and a few new lads turning up. We trained for 3 hours a day for 2 days, finishing with a match against the Northampton club. The game ended in a narrow loss which was really encouraging given we were playing a team of very mixed abilities. I was impressed with how the new players stepped up. Overall, it was good to see everyone back in the pool and was a promising look into the coming year.
