This past year the CUSWPC committee did an excellent job, improving relations with the city swim team, organizing an incredible Tadpoles Dinner, Varsity Dinner, and endless other behind the scene tasks which have improved the standing of the club and made it a successful and enjoyable year. They have given so much of their time and energy to this club; it’s only fair we let them get on with doing other things in their lives. The trials for the men’s and women’s water polo teams for the 2015/16 season will be taking place on Saturday 10th – Sunday 11th of October. Head down to Parskside Pools, Cambridge (next to Parker’s Piece) to watch your favourite home teams battle for victory against the dark blues!

Congratulations to the Channel Swim Team!
The Channel Swim team consisting of Erik Sullivan, Katie Davidson, Graeham Douglas, Emma Tarrant, Dan Brackenbury, and Jacqui Gilbert completed the crossing in 9 hours, ahead of the Oxford team (9hr 2min). Unfortunately the time gap was not enough to declare a win for Cambridge; however, after the team had to pull out in 2012, this is a fantastic feat for Cambridge open-water swimming.
Swimmers finish 9th in the UK
The swim team finished 9th in the BUCS championship national finals for the 2013/2014 season. A fantastic feat, finishing behind teams with Olympians and state of the art facilities. Well done team! Due to this incredibly result, next season will see a second team being entered into the BUCS competition.
Women’s finish 4th in the UK
The 2013/2014 season saw the BUCS competition rearranged to Premier North and South divisions. Cambridge women strode through the group, winning the Southern Premier divison and going through to semi-finals in Leeds.
